Auburndale is a city located in Polk County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Lakeland–Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 13,507 at the 2010 census.
Auburndale is known for its historic downtown area and its many lakes. The city has several parks and recreational areas, including Lake Ariana Park, which features a beach and boat ramp, as well as a playground and picnic area. The city also has a number of public schools, including Auburndale High School.
