Lewes, DE, USA is a small coastal town located in Sussex County, Delaware. It is situated on the Delaware Bay and is known for its historic charm and beautiful beaches. The town has a population of around 3,000 people and is home to many historical sites, including the Zwaanendael Museum and the Lewes Historical Society.

The town of Lewes has a rich history that dates back to 1631 when it was founded by Dutch settlers. It was one of the first towns established in what would become the United States. Today, Lewes is a popular tourist destination due to its picturesque beaches and quaint downtown area. The downtown area features many unique shops and restaurants as well as galleries and museums.
