Westport, Connecticut Description
Westport, Connecticut is a beautiful coastal town located in Fairfield County, about 50 miles northeast of New York City. It is situated on the Long Island Sound and has a population of approximately 27,000 people. The town is known for its vibrant arts and culture scene, as well as its picturesque beaches and waterfront parks.
The downtown area of Westport is full of unique shops, restaurants, galleries, and cafes. There are also several historic sites to explore such as the Westport Town Hall and the Westport Historical Society. The town also hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year including the annual Levitt Pavilion Summer Concert Series and the Westport Arts Festival.
