Fairfield, Connecticut is a charming town located in the southwestern part of the state. It is situated on Long Island Sound and is bordered by Bridgeport to the west, Trumbull to the north, Easton and Weston to the east, and Westport to the south. The town has a population of approximately 60,000 people and covers an area of 28 square miles.
Fairfield is known for its beautiful beaches, parks, and recreational areas. Jennings Beach is a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing while Lake Mohegan offers fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities. The Fairfield Museum & History Center provides visitors with an opportunity to learn about the town’s history through interactive exhibits.
The downtown area of Fairfield features a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, galleries, and boutiques. There are also several cultural attractions such as the Fairfield Theatre Company which hosts live performances throughout the year.
