Wellington, Colorado Description
Wellington, Colorado is a small town located in Larimer County, just north of Fort Collins. It is situated at the base of the Rocky Mountains and has a population of about 8,000 people. The town was founded in 1858 and was named after Arthur Wellesley, the Duke of Wellington.
The town is known for its rural charm and outdoor activities. There are several parks and trails in the area that offer hiking, biking, fishing, camping, and other recreational activities. The Cache la Poudre River runs through Wellington and provides opportunities for kayaking, rafting, tubing, and more.
