Gunnison, Colorado is a small mountain town located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. It is situated at an elevation of 7,700 feet and is surrounded by stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The town has a population of around 6,000 people and is home to Western State Colorado University.
Gunnison offers a variety of outdoor activities for visitors and locals alike. In the summer months, visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, camping, rafting and kayaking on the Gunnison River.
