Firestone, Colorado is a small town located in Weld County, just north of Denver. It is situated at the base of the Rocky Mountains and is surrounded by rolling hills and open fields. The town has a population of around 13,000 people and is known for its small-town charm and friendly atmosphere.

The town was founded in 1902 by Jacob Firestone, who named it after his family. It was originally an agricultural community, but has since grown to include many businesses and services. The town is home to several parks, including Firestone Park which features a playground, picnic areas, and walking trails. There are also several golf courses in the area as well as a public library.

The town has a variety of restaurants ranging from fast food to fine dining. There are also several shops offering unique gifts and souvenirs. Firestone also hosts several annual events such as the Firestone Festival of Lights in December and the Firestone Freedom Festival in July.

Firestone is served by two school districts: St Vrain Valley School District and Weld RE-4 School District. The town also has its own police department which provides 24-hour protection for residents and visitors alike.
