Erie, Colorado is a small town located in Boulder County, just 25 miles northwest of Denver. It is situated at the base of the Rocky Mountains and has a population of over 20,000 people. The town is known for its quaint downtown area with its historic buildings and unique shops.

The town was founded in 1874 by settlers from Ohio and Pennsylvania who were looking for a place to settle down and start their own businesses. Since then, Erie has grown into a vibrant community with plenty of things to do and see. There are several parks throughout the town, including Coal Creek Park which features an outdoor amphitheater, playgrounds, picnic areas, and trails.
