Eaton, Colorado Description
Eaton, Colorado is a small town located in Weld County, just east of Greeley. It is a rural community with a population of about 4,000 people. The town was founded in 1882 and named after Benjamin Harrison Eaton, who was the first postmaster of the area.
The town has a rich agricultural history and is home to many farms and ranches. The main crops grown in the area are corn, wheat, hay, and alfalfa. There are also several wineries in the area that produce award-winning wines.
The town has several parks and recreational areas for residents to enjoy. Eaton Park features a playground, picnic tables, basketball courts, and a walking path around the lake.
