Bailey, Colorado is a small mountain town located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is situated at an elevation of 8,400 feet and is surrounded by majestic peaks and lush forests. The town has a population of approximately 500 people and is home to many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling and more.
The town was founded in 1864 by settlers from the Midwest who were looking for a place to call home. Since then it has grown into a vibrant community with a rich history and culture. The downtown area features several historic buildings including the Bailey Hotel which was built in 1883. There are also several restaurants, shops and galleries that offer unique items for visitors to enjoy.
