Wildomar, California Description
Wildomar is a city located in Riverside County, California, United States. It is situated in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains and is bordered by Lake Elsinore to the north, Murrieta to the east, Temecula to the south, and Canyon Lake to the west. The city was incorporated on July 1, 2008 and has a population of approximately 33,000 people.
Wildomar is known for its rural atmosphere and small-town charm. The city offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and horseback riding. There are several parks located throughout Wildomar including Marna O’Brien Park which features a lake with fishing docks and picnic areas. The city also has several golf courses including Bear Creek Golf Club which offers an 18-hole championship course.
Wildomar is home to many businesses including retail stores, restaurants, medical facilities, banks and other services. The city also has several schools including Wildomar Elementary School and Elsinore High School.
