Tehachapi, California is a small city located in the Tehachapi Mountains of Kern County, about 35 miles east of Bakersfield. It is known for its beautiful mountain scenery and outdoor activities. The city has a population of around 14,000 people and is home to many businesses, including several wineries and breweries.
The climate in Tehachapi is mild with hot summers and cold winters. Average temperatures range from the mid-50s in winter to the mid-90s in summer. The area receives an average of 12 inches of rain per year, mostly during the winter months.
