Spring Valley is a census-designated place located in San Diego County, California. It is situated in the southeastern corner of the county, just east of the city of San Diego and south of El Cajon. The population was 28,205 at the 2010 census.
Spring Valley is a suburban community with a diverse population. It has a mix of residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, and industrial parks. The area is known for its mild climate and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The main thoroughfare through Spring Valley is State Route 94, which runs east-west through the center of town. Other major roads include Sweetwater Road, Jamacha Road, and Bancroft Drive.
