Santa Maria, California is a city located in the northern part of Santa Barbara County. It is situated on the Central Coast of California, about 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles and about 230 miles south of San Francisco. The city has a population of approximately 107,000 people and covers an area of about 20 square miles.
Santa Maria is known for its agricultural production, particularly strawberries and wine grapes. The city is home to several wineries and vineyards, as well as numerous farms that produce a variety of fruits and vegetables. The city also has a thriving business community with many corporate headquarters located here.
