San Carlos, California is a city located in San Mateo County, just south of San Francisco. It is situated on the San Francisco Peninsula and is bordered by Belmont to the north, Redwood City to the east, and San Mateo to the south. The city has a population of approximately 28,000 people and covers an area of 6.1 square miles.
