Rubidoux is a small unincorporated community located in Riverside County, California. It is situated on the western edge of the city of Riverside, and is bordered by the cities of Jurupa Valley and Moreno Valley. The population of Rubidoux was estimated to be 33,344 in 2019.

The area was originally inhabited by the Serrano Indians, who named it "Rubidoux" after Louis Robidoux, a French-Canadian fur trapper who settled in the area in 1843. The town was officially founded in 1906 and incorporated into Riverside County in 1911.

Rubidoux is home to several parks and recreational areas, including Rubidoux Nature Park, which features hiking trails, picnic areas, and a lake for fishing. The town also has several historic sites such as the Rubidoux Drive-In Theater and the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa.

The town's economy is largely based on agriculture and light industry. There are several large employers in Rubidoux such as Frito-Lay, Nestle USA, and PepsiCo. The town also has a vibrant retail sector with many shops and restaurants located along Mission Boulevard.
