Richmond, California is a city located in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. It is situated on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, and is part of Contra Costa County. Richmond has a population of approximately 110,000 people and covers an area of 52 square miles.
Richmond is known for its diverse culture and vibrant art scene. The city has a rich history that dates back to the early 1800s when it was first settled by Europeans. The city was incorporated in 1905 and has since grown into a thriving community with many attractions and amenities.
