Rancho Mirage is a city located in Riverside County, California, United States. It is situated in the Coachella Valley, approximately 11 miles east of Palm Springs and 122 miles east of Los Angeles. The city has a population of 17,218 as of the 2010 census.

Rancho Mirage is known for its luxury resorts and golf courses. It is home to many celebrities and politicians, including former President Gerald Ford and his wife Betty Ford who lived in the city until their deaths in 2006 and 2011 respectively. The city also boasts a number of high-end shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The climate in Rancho Mirage is desert-like with hot summers and mild winters. Average temperatures range from highs of 90°F (32°C) during the summer months to lows of 50°F (10°C) during the winter months. Rainfall averages around 4 inches per year with most precipitation occurring between November and March.
