Oxnard is a city located in Ventura County, California, United States. It is situated along the coast of the Pacific Ocean and is the most populous city in the county. The population of Oxnard was 204,906 at the 2020 census.
Oxnard is known for its beautiful beaches and its agricultural industry. The city has a Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures year-round. The average high temperature in July is 78°F (26°C) and the average low temperature in January is 48°F (9°C).
The economy of Oxnard is largely based on agriculture, with strawberries being one of the main crops grown in the area. Other crops include celery, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, and tomatoes.
