Lakeside, California Description
Lakeside is a small, unincorporated community located in San Diego County, California. It is situated in the foothills of the Cuyamaca Mountains, just east of El Cajon and about 25 miles northeast of downtown San Diego. The area is known for its rural atmosphere and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and lakes.
The town has a population of around 20,000 people and is home to several parks, including Lindo Lake Park and Lakeside Community Park. There are also several golf courses in the area, including Riverwalk Golf Club and Steele Canyon Golf Club.
The town has a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a few small businesses. There are also several churches in the area, including Lakeside Presbyterian Church and Lakeside United Methodist Church.
Lakeside is served by two school districts: Lakeside Union School District and Grossmont Union High School District. The town also has its own library branch, which offers books, magazines, movies, music CDs, audio books, computers with internet access, and more.
