Imperial, California Description
Imperial is a small city located in Imperial County, California, United States. It is situated in the southeastern corner of the state, just north of the Mexican border and east of San Diego. The city has a population of around 15,000 people and covers an area of 4.7 square miles.
Imperial is known for its agricultural production, particularly its citrus fruits and vegetables. The city is also home to several large companies such as Imperial Valley Foods and Imperial Valley Milling Company.
The climate in Imperial is hot and dry with temperatures ranging from the mid-90s during the summer months to the low-50s during winter months. The area receives very little rainfall throughout the year, making it ideal for growing crops.
The city has a variety of attractions including museums, parks, golf courses, and shopping centers. There are also several festivals held throughout the year such as the Imperial Valley Fair and Fiesta de la Primavera which celebrate local culture and traditions.
