Hemet is a city located in Riverside County, California, United States. It is situated in the San Jacinto Valley, with San Jacinto Mountains to the west and the San Bernardino Mountains to the east. The population of Hemet was 78,657 at the 2010 census.
Hemet is known for its warm climate and sunny days. The average high temperature in July is 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 Celsius), while the average low temperature in January is 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4 Celsius). The city receives an average of 14 inches of rain per year.
