Fallbrook, California is a small town located in San Diego County, about 35 miles north of San Diego. It is situated in the foothills of the Santa Margarita Mountains and is known for its rural atmosphere and beautiful scenery. The town has a population of approximately 30,000 people and covers an area of about 15 square miles.
The climate in Fallbrook is mild and sunny year-round with temperatures rarely dropping below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or rising above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The area receives an average of 14 inches of rain per year, making it one of the driest places in California.
Fallbrook is home to many attractions including the Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens, which features lush gardens, a waterfall, and a Victorian mansion. There are also several wineries in the area that offer tastings and tours. Other popular attractions include the Fallbrook Historical Society Museum, which showcases local history; the Fallbrook Art Center; and the Fallbrook Avocado Festival held each April.
