San Tan Valley, AZ is a census-designated place located in Pinal County, Arizona. It is situated in the southeastern part of the Phoenix metropolitan area and is home to over 81,000 people. San Tan Valley is known for its beautiful desert landscape and its close proximity to many outdoor activities.
The area was originally inhabited by the Hohokam people who left behind numerous artifacts that can still be found today. The area was later settled by ranchers and farmers in the late 1800s and early 1900s. In recent years, San Tan Valley has become a popular destination for retirees and families looking for a quiet place to live with easy access to nearby cities like Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff.
