New River, Arizona is a small unincorporated community located in Maricopa County, Arizona. It is situated in the Sonoran Desert, approximately 25 miles north of Phoenix. The town was founded in the late 1800s by ranchers and farmers who were attracted to the area's abundant water supply from the nearby New River.
The town has a population of around 8,000 people and is home to several businesses including restaurants, shops, and a post office. The town also has several parks and recreational areas such as Cave Creek Regional Park and Lake Pleasant Regional Park.
