Florence, Arizona is a small town located in the southeastern part of the state, about 60 miles southeast of Phoenix. It is situated in the Sonoran Desert and is surrounded by mountains and rolling hills. The town has a population of around 25,000 people and is known for its historic downtown area, which features many old buildings from the late 1800s.
The climate in Florence is hot and dry with temperatures reaching up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer months. Winters are mild with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing. The area receives an average of 8 inches of rain per year.
