Camp Verde, Arizona Description
Camp Verde is a small town located in the Verde Valley of Central Arizona. It is situated at an elevation of 3,400 feet and is surrounded by the Coconino National Forest. The town has a population of approximately 11,000 people and is known for its rich history and culture.
The area was first settled by the Yavapai people in the late 1800s and was later established as a military camp during the Indian Wars. Today, Camp Verde is home to many historical sites including Fort Verde State Historic Park, Montezuma Castle National Monument, and Tuzigoot National Monument.
