Sylacauga, Alabama is a small city located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in central Alabama. It is the county seat of Talladega County and has a population of 12,749 people as of 2019. The city is known for its rich history and natural beauty, with many attractions that draw visitors from all over the state and beyond.
The city was founded in 1838 and named after the Native American tribe that lived in the area at the time. It was originally a farming community but has since grown to become an industrial center with several large factories and businesses located within its borders.
