Springville, AL is a small town located in St. Clair County, Alabama. It is situated on the banks of the Coosa River and is part of the Birmingham-Hoover Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of Springville is approximately 2,500 people.
The town was founded in 1818 and has a rich history that includes being the site of a Civil War battle in 1863. The town was also home to several prominent figures such as former Alabama Governor George Wallace and former U.S. Senator Howell Heflin.
