Celebrity Homes On the Market

Tom Cruise’s Telluride, CO Home for Sale

For those of you house hunting in Telluride, Colorado, Tom Cruise just put his estate up for grabs in the neighborhood. It’s up on the market for $39.5 million.

The Mission Impossible star spent many years designing and constructing this secluded home, which is surrounded by the picturesque mountains and forestry of Colorado. The property’s backdrop is of beautiful, snow-capped mountains and luscious greenery. He completed building the home by 1994.

The estate is a whopping 11,512 square feet and is almost invisible from other properties. It can only be accessed via a one-mile-long gated entry. It was built in this manner with privacy in mind, only 12 minutes from downtown Telluride.

The property, set on a scenic 320 acres, has 10,000 square feet in the main house and 1,600 square feet in the guest lounge. The guest lounge has three bedrooms.

The log cabin style interior shows exposed wooden beams and a vaulted ceiling. The living room has large, almost floor-to-ceiling windows and a stone hearth.

The custom-built estate houses seven bedrooms and nine full bathrooms. The spacious home also has a media room, spa, sports court, gym, fitness center, terrace, office, and a three-car garage.

Plenty of other A-listers also have homes in Telluride, including Oprah Winfrey, who owns a $14 million home, and Ralph Lauren, with a ranch rumored to be roughly as big as Manhattan.

Telluride is home to the world-renowned Telluride Film Festival and Telluride Ski Resort, which is said to be the number one ski resort in North America.

Cruise first put up the estate for sale in 2014 for $59 million but didn’t list it publicly.

Jimmy Fallon Lists Manhattan Property

Jimmy Fallon is an American talk show host, comedian, actor, writer, producer, and presenter — a television all-star, some might say. He’s best known as the host of The Tonight Show and for his appearances on Saturday Night Live.

Now, those lucky enough to have a spare $15 million may just be able to call Jimmy’s very own property home after the star recently placed it on the market.

The property is located at Gramercy Park in downtown Manhattan, one of the poshest neighborhoods in the city. It’s a three-story penthouse suite that combines 4 separate units on the top three floors.

In 2002, Fallon initially bought one of the suites as a bachelor pad but expanded his home when he married his wife, movie producer Nancy Juvonen. Over the past two decades, they’ve spent their time expanding and beautifying their home into what it is today.

As of right now, the home is nearly 5000 square feet, with six bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The home is an artist’s dream — the entrance is via a beautiful foyer leading to a living room with a turquoise sofa and lime green flooring. It’s perfect for when the family watches movies using their in-ceiling projector.

The rooms are also all vibrant in color. The property has color combinations you normally wouldn’t think go well together — but surprisingly, these colors work in a unique, quirky manner.

In the saloon, they have a vintage bar made from dark wood for entertaining guests, with a matching vintage barback and stained glass. The room also houses a stone fireplace, perfect if you want to grab a whiskey off the back, prop your feet up, and relax in front of the hearth.

The walk-in pantry looks like a small homey store you would find in an intimate neighborhood, with rustic, wooden, circular shelves and a price chalkboard. Tall shelves also neatly line the sides of the room.

When moving around, you can navigate through the three-story home using an elegant staircase surrounded by colorful murals. The master bedroom is located on the top floor of the suite, and the room’s motif is in pristine white with wood accents, a plush white carpet, and crisp white bedding. The room also boasts of a newly built-in skylight.

The house even has a custom, built-in massage bed and a wet bar with a refrigerator. With two walk-in closets, a bath with dual vanities and a steam shower, as well as a separate room with a soaking tub — what more could we ask for?

The property is currently listed under Sotheby’s International Realty – Downtown Manhattan Brokerage, with Jeremy Stein and Debbie Korb.

Pamela Anderson Selling Malibu Home

Former ‘Baywatch’ superstar, Pamela Anderson, is now leaving the Malibu beach for good, and this time she is going back to where it all started — Canada.

The actress, whose breakthrough in acting started by playing a role as a lifeguard in the hit 1990s television series, has decided to sell her Malibu home to live in Canada with her former bodyguard and new husband, Dan Hayhurst.

Pamela Anderson’s house is located in Malibu, an area in the western part of Los Angeles, California. Malibu is a neighborhood known as the destination of the high net-worths and the home of many Hollywood celebrities. One of the most famous areas here is the wide stretch of Malibu Zuma beach where Baywatch was filmed.

For house-hunting buyers looking to experience the Malibu lifestyle, this house is in a league of its own. Compared to other real-estate in Malibu with an average price of $50 million, Anderson’s house can be considered a steal.

Pamela Anderson bought her Malibu house in 2000 for $1.8 million, and after two decades, she is now putting it on the market. Over the years, she has redesigned and rebuilt it, with the total costs amounting to over $8 million dollars. Last 2013, she also put it on the market for $7.7 million, but pulled out the listing and chose to have it rented for $50,000 a month instead. This rental money was then used for the renovation of her property in Vancouver, Canada.

Located in a gated Malibu community, Anderson’s two-story home has private access to the beach and a lagoon where seabirds are often spotted. Her 5,500 square foot house sits on a 6,324 sq ft lot and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a separate guest cottage with its own en-suite toilet and baths.

The roof deck with a fireplace offers amazing views. It also has spa beds, so it’s ideal for massages or hosting dinner parties with friends. The pool and deck are located in between the main house and guest cottage — nestled among the trees — with wooden decks and lounge beds surrounding the whole area.

The modernist architecture of this house has an open-plan concept that brings the outdoors in. Many onlookers have tried to get a glimpse of Anderson in her residence, so for privacy purposes, tall trees and hedges surround the house. There’s greenery everywhere, and the sweet scent of the avocado trees, olive, and orange orchards fill the property especially during the spring season. Colorful bougainvilleas also add beauty to its landscape.

Pamela Anderson’s home is built with sustainability in mind. The vegetable garden has its own irrigation, and the house is powered by solar panels. The doors were made from teakwood, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors are used to let the natural air circulate through the house. Natural wood is also used for the warm floors, while stone slabs were used for the kitchen countertops.

The master bedroom, or primary suite, has its own sauna, a private terrace, and a full ensuite with a luxury bathtub, and his-and-hers-sink. Similar to the doors in the house, the bathroom has floor-to-ceiling windows as well to create a relaxing and breathable space.

She was born and raised in Canada which is why she plans on settling there. According to sources, she states that she is more comfortable with settling on her six-acre ranch that formerly belonged to her grandmother. With the bigger space, she will also be able to rescue and help more animals. She also said that because of her more sustainable living in Vancouver island, she focuses her time on landscaping and building gardens nowadays.
