Wickham’s Fruit Farm
Posted October 22, 2008 by Ima Local
Parents should bring their kids here because it is a healthy environment containing lots of fruits and vegetables, all you can eat! Some of the attractions are a hay wagon ride and farm tours. A good time to go would be Mondays because they are closed on Sundays so there would be more fruits that ripened over night. This is located in a very village-like part of town with many wineries and strawberry-picking farms. Wickham’s is a family orientated place; it’s a great place for families to spend time together, particularly with children as they can go home afterwards and make an apple or pumpkin pie. There are many trees with an abundance of fruits on them. It’s very green, earthy, yet not alienated. It is a very safe area. They also have a shop right outside of the farm with AMAZING pastries, honey, cider, etc.
