Welcome to Charlotte NC!

Posted May 2, 2008 by Tim Leadbetter

Over the past few years, Charlotte NC has become the destination to call home for families, students, young professionals, and retirees.  There are many reasons why this is so.

Charlotte, also known as the “Queen City”, has an excellent job market.  It is the banking and information technology hub of the southeast!  Companies like Wachovia, Bank of America, and Lending Tree have chosen Charlotte as their headquarters.

Charlotte is in a great location.  It is less than 3 hours to the Appalachin Mountains, and multiple beaches along the Atlantic Coast.  Another plus is the mild climate it’s residents enjoy year round!

The Charlotte Real Estate market is also one of the strongest in the country!  ABC news recently reported on this a few months ago.  While other markets were seeing 20-50% gains, Charlotte has been on a slow and steady increase of 2-5%.  A report by CNN listed Charlotte as one of the few “undervalued” markets in the United States!

Charlotte has a lot to offer, and is definitely a place you’ll be excited to call home!
