I highly recommend The Nature Zone in Lynchburg, Virginia, on the bottom floor of the Kemper Street Train Station. Admission is free to the public and this establishment’s purpose is to teach about wildlife, environmental awareness, and conservation of resources. Children of all ages can learn by close encounter and touching the animals under supervision.
