Virginia Discovery Museum

The Virginia Discovery Museum is a great location to take kids to learn, play, and have fun! It is open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Admission is just $4 per person for anyone over 1 year old, additionally two hours of free parking are provided with museum validation. The museum offers 16 permanent educational exhibits as well as different traveling exhibits throughout the year. Now through October 19th they are offering Busy Builders, a fun way to learn about the exciting world of construction. Beginning on October 24 there will be a new exhibit called New Harmonies, Celebrating American Roots Music. Aside from the regular exhibits Virginia Discovery Museum also offers special events and performances from time to time. This is a great place to spend an afternoon together, learning and hving fun!
