Tour City Hall

Posted March 24, 2008 by Realty.com Editor

If you like history, visit City Hall by joining the guided tour at 12:30 pm on weekdays.

First, gather at the tour office, room 121, which is on the East side entrance to City Hall. The tour takes about an hour and a half. On the tour of all the government offices in the building, one can also take the elevator to the top of the William Penn statue. It was at one time the tallest point in the city. There are now two buildings that are higher than that point. But one can still get a great view of the city.

Back at the tour office are pictures, photos and documents of the history of City Hall. There is also a gift shop for souvnirs and there they also provide lots of travel information.
