Chicago, Illinois is most known for it’s theatrical arts. This city is where all manners of the thespian come to see class acts and learn the craft of masters. Chicago’s theatre community spawned modern improvisational theatre. It was from here two other comedy troupes emerged on the scene.
Chicago offers Broadway-style entertainment at theatres such as Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre, LaSalle Bank Theatre, Cadillac Palace Theatre, Auditorium Building of Roosevelt University, and Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower Place. It’s here anyone can see classic plays to original works of art performed by some of the brightest and youngest talents in theater today.
Since theater can be performed come rain or shine it makes Chicago an all round destination anytime of the year. Hailed as the American version of the Globe Theater, Chicago has all sorts of entertainment to offer from the stage to the musical.
