The Whale Museum
Posted October 24, 2008 by Ima Local
Bring your entire family to the Museum of Whales and learn about the natural history of marine mammals and about the pods of orcas living in the waters locally. Then you can take your family out on a whale watching adventure. Some of the other museums exhibits include artwork, artifacts (like a real whale skeleton whale models), and a gift shop. They also have a Whale Phone Booth, where you can listen to the songs of various species of whales. They also offer a Whale Discovery Lab where you can have hands-on fun and a wonderful educational opportunity. Showing continuously is the free, 30-minute video on Pacific Northwest orcas. Kids of all ages will love this museum.
