The Indianapolis Symphony
Posted March 24, 2008 by Realty.com Editor
The Indianapolis Symphony is considered one of the top 10 Symphony orchestras in the Nation. They are one of the few symphonies that offer a year-round schedule that includes many guest artists and conducters, many different genres of music from Pop to Latin, Opera to Contemporary, and many more.
The great thing about this symphony is that they really do offer something for almost everyone with their diverse musical styles. So just pick the performance that sounds interesting to you and enjoy! In my opinion, the best time to go is during their Christmas Spectacular Series during the first three weeks of December.
Another great thing about attending an ISO performance is the venue. The Hilbert Circle Theatre is located in beautiful downtown Indianapois right on the Circle Center. As is the case in most any big cities downtown area, parking can some time be quite challenging, but the ambience of downtown Indy and the Hilbert Circle Theatre will more than make up for any parking disappointments.
There are also many other attractions in the downtown Indy area such as the Conseco Fieldhouse where you could catch a Pacers or Fever game. And one of the great malls in America is also right there on the Circle, the Circle Center Mall. All in all, you can’t go wrong with an event in downtown Indianapolis.
