The Children’s Museum Seattle
Posted October 24, 2008 by Ima Local
The Children’s Museum in Seattle, Washington, is perfect for children ages birth to about 10 years. There are tons of exhibits which spark creativity and make kids think. The museum is fantastic for kids in preschool because they can learn how to play and learn at the same time. They have a theatre with costumes, a fantastic maze so kids can watch balls roll through a cityscape using pulleys, pipes and levers. There is a Discovery Bay for 2 and younger where you can look at fish and play with kelp. You can create art in the Imagination Studio, or trek up their mountain. You can even pretend you work in a neighborhood, shopping, serving food, etc. It is fantastic for kids who enjoy such play. They are open 7 days a week except Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day, and admission is very affordable.
