Tampa, FL - has it all.

Posted July 15, 2008 by Town Genius

I absolutely love living in Tampa!  It is a great and diverse city, with something always happening.

We have thousands of great restaurants, like Samuri Blue for great sushi, the Melting Pot for fondue, The Spaghetti Warehouse for Italian, and my absolute favorite, Sushi Alive for the best sushi ever.  We have two large theme parks, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, which both attract millions of people.  Orlando and Disney are just a short drive away.  We have some of the world’s best beaches within half-hour from us, like Clearwater, Honeymoon Island, and Ft. De Soto, all which always rank high on lists of great beaches.  I think anytime is a great time to visit Tampa.

Late Januaury or early February is probably the best time.  That’s when we have Gasparilla, our own Mardi-Gras like parade, including pirate invasions, festivals, and several parades.  Visiting in summer might be too hot for some.  It does get a little humid here.  Everyone can have fun in Tampa, no matter what age you are.  We have attractions and things to do for all.  That’s why everyone hangs out here.  I think people who visit will especially like Tampa because there truly is something for everyone.
