Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City has been a large attraction in Southwest Missouri for many years. This theme park is sure to amuse everyone, young to old. There are a lot of great thrill rides, many excellent shows, all brought together by their down-home style charm. Everyone is sure to be amazed by their craftmen displaying their art. My most treasured piece of glassware came from the glass cutting craftsman: a very thick mug with my name on it, beautifully etched! Be sure to get a memento that your children will cherish for years! This park is not for the faint of heart, however. It is very hilly, so be sure to wear some comfortable shoes and plan for several rest breaks. Also, take a ride on the Fire in the Hole ride, it really is one of their best rides.
