San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum

This children\u2019s museum is fantastic for children preschool through elementary school aged. Children can learn health, history, science and many other great topics through exploration. Admission is very inexpensive and they are open Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 am to 5 pm and on Sunday 10:30 am to 5 pm. They are closed Mondays for maintenance. They are a three story building with over 20 different indoor and outdoor activities to nurture creativity and exploration. They have different levels for different ages, with the first floor opening in 2009. When the first floor is completed, there will be a museum store, and a volcano with caves to explore for the older children. The second floor has Zoomtown, Farmers\u2019 Market, Clocktower, Bubblegum Alley, while the third floor is specifically for younger children\u2019s development.
