The beautiful Phoenix Zoo is home to over 1200 animals! This zoo features over 120 acres and 2 1/2 miles of walking trails. Everyone in the family will have an enjoyable day. You can even bring bikes or roller blades, as well as your own lunch filled cooler. The zoo features hands on learning experiences for younger children. The zoo also has special classes and workshops for older children to learn about plant and animal care, and an exciting nighttime experience perfect for children over 5. For mom and dad, there are lectures, workshops, receptions, programs and you could even be a keeper for a day. The Phoenix Zoo has something for everyone in the entire family.
