Philadelphia - a city full of history
Posted March 22, 2008 by Realty.com Editor
Originally the Capital of the United States before it was moved to Washington DC, Philadelphia was considered the city of brotherly love. It was here that the Liberty Bell was cracked and where the ones who drafted the Constitution of the United States signed the document of legend. Yes, Philadelphia has a lot to offer even today, from the original preserved cobblestone streets to the tours of such places like Betsy Ross’ home. Not only do the origins of the United States lay here but so do the items that represent the country’s history. Iconic as the stories that surround it, you’d find all manner of people in this city from the poet to the traveling actor, South Street always has an attraction or a show to put on for the locals. Every street corner and every building in Philadelphia holds a story of historic proportions.
