Posted October 18, 2008 by Ima Local
Peabody Museum is a great way for your child to be amazed by dinosaur fossils and real live animals. The discovery room provides touchable items and hands-on projects. You can even see a real, live silk catepillar moth feeding! In the daily life in ancient Egypt exhibit, you can view treasures from tombs and mummies. Peabody Museum also houses the oldest metorite collection in the United States. The museum now offers a free 70-minute audio tour of the exhibits. The museum is open Monday-Saturday from 10-5 and on Sunday from 12-5. Any of these times should be perfect for you children to go on a fun filled adventure through the museum to explore.
