Ocala, FL - a city on the rise

In recent years Ocala, FL has gone from a quaint little town to a fairly large city, mostly caused by the real estate boom a few years back. Known as the “horse capital of the world,” this city is home to many famous horse farms. With miles of trails for horse riding available, it is a favorite past time for many.
For those who like to play in the water, there are many spring fed rivers in or near Ocala. The Rainbow River, in Dunnellon is only a 45 minute drive or so and Silver Springs, feeding the Silver River, is right outside the main city. This spring holds claim to being the largest freshwater spring in the world.
For people who like to go to theme parks Ocala has “Wild Waters,” a park with many water slides and a huge wave pool. This town is one of the most diverse little towns you will find people of all walks of life can be found here, any race, any age and any religion.
