NYC’s Coffee and Tea Festival

Posted July 15, 2008 by Town Genius

New York, New York is by far and obviously one of the greatest cities in the world.  Not much more needs to be said.  Specifically, there are many events such as the New York City Coffee and Tea Festival which is held yearly in NYC.  This event is a great opportunity to taste, sample, and learn about coffee and tea which can be, for all intensive purposes, considered the fuel of the hustle and bustle of NYC.

The people that attend are usually in the thousands and you’ll find anyone from yuppies to coffee employees; from hippies to single sexy gals; and from grunged out dudes to serious “Wall Streeters”.  This festival will allow you to indulge in the thousands of scents, tastes, and textures of coffee and tea that are gathered from around the world to feed NYC.  People will love the fact that there are always free samples available.  Just make sure and stay off the coffee for a couple of days before you get there.

A great time to go to meet people would be during lunch hours, or after work.  If you like it calm and want to dive in to the coffee beans on your own get there early.  Another angle to this festival is it’s business networking opportunity.  Many wholesalers and popular chains attend.  So not only is this advantageous to tourists looking to learn a bit of everyday NYC life.  But it is also an opportunity for both business travelers and business seekers to make valuable connections.

All ages and groups of people will love the organization and aroma of this energy filled convention.  Additionally, there are also events and seminars for those wishing to learn about coffee, both historically and preparatory.  This festival and more information can be located at the following URL: http://www.coffeeandteafestival.com/ Enjoy the convention.
