Music Together of State College
Posted October 23, 2008 by Ima Local
Music Together is a creative educational opportunity for young children and their parents in State College, Pennsylvania. Various classes are offered for kids, accompanied by an adult, where they can learn the joys of music and bond with each other at the same time. The philosophy of this unconventional school, which is nationwide, is based on the assumption that all children are naturally musical and able to sing in tune and keep rhythm in music. The dedicated teachers provide joyful learning experiences that involve both the adults and the children, and there are compact disks, tapes and books to use at home. The classes are designed for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers, kindergartners and the adults who love them. The kids can even discover some instruments, and they can get involved by singing, moving, or chanting with the wide variety of songs presented. Currently classes are held at both Oakwood Presbyterian Church and Pine Hall Lutheran Church in State College, Pennsylvania. Sign up for a free class just to see what it’s all about!
