Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo is one of the best zoos in the country. You can visit the world’s largest indoor rainforest in the Lied Jungle. Experience the desert in the Desert Dome and see who’s up late at the very cool Kingdom of the Night exhibit. In the Scott Aquarium you can take an underwater stroll through the shark tunnel. The Zoo is beautifully landscaped and they really strive to make the animal habitats as close to nature as possible. Getting to the Zoo is really easy as it is located just off of Nebraska’s Interstate 80. Because so many of the exhibits are inside the zoo is open year-round. You will have to make a couple of trips to see it all! There truly is something for everyone, both young and old, at the Henry Doorly Zoo.
