Gilmore Car Museum
Posted October 21, 2008 by Ima Local
The Gilmore Car Museum is a great place to bring the whole family. It is rated 1 of 10 largest car museums in the United States and boasts 130 cars that trace the American automobile history. It is filled with Packard’s, Cadillacs and Rolls Royces, and sports cars are among its displays.
Why not take the family out, have fun and learn a bit about history while you are at it? Located on the M-43, it is 15 miles northeast of Kalamazoo. It is open from May to October from 10am to 5pm daily. There is an admission to get in but, children under 6 are free, and is reasonably priced for all other ages. Plus, if you go onto their website, you can always find a coupon for a 2 for 1 admission. How can you say no?
